Jack O'Lanterns

    We carved Jack O'Lanterns this fall!  Helen wanted to do a Boo ghost from the Mario games but it didn't work out so she changed it into a cat:

   And she carved a face on the opposite side:

   My creation also sort of failed.  Mine was through lack of pre-planning.  Or at least scientifically incorrect pre-planning.  I failed to remember that if I cut out a circle it would no longer be attached.  I was making the symbol from the hunger games:

   Can you see it?  Here's slightly to the side:

   Can you see it now?  Here's it brighter:

   Can you see it now?  You know what, whatever.  It's there.  Just trust me.

   All around it I carved flames.  For the part that I had a printed picture to go by it turned out pretty good.  I'll just show you that part, k?
